The main thrust of this class is to learn and work with the principles of design in a variety of art media and art styles.

Working with clay will be the main thrust of this art class. Students will create both functional and nonfunctional works of art using handbuilt methods and the potter's wheel. Clay artists of the past and present will also be researched.
